Brian Daniel P.E.

Brian is a licensed engineer in the state of North Carolina. Before pursuing an engineering degree from UNC Charlotte, Brian spent time in the construction trades. This allowed him to get hands on experience in all aspects of residential construction, from tying rebar and sealing foundation walls, to trim work and roofing. After graduating UNC-C, Brian spent 7 years designing airline seating. Using 3D design software, performing finite element analysis, and solving complex design problems in a highly regulated and tightly constrained field, also allowing Brian to meet several other licensed engineers who mentored him and supported his goal of becoming a Professional Engineer. Since then, Brian has moved back to the construction field, working with design build firms and contractors in Asheville NC on Helene damage repairs and other construction related engineering solutions.

In his free time, Brian enjoys cycling, working on house projects, playing pool, and spending time with his wife, Tory, and their pets, Zily, Zany, and Zola.
